Story

Gracelyn
Gracelyn was born on February 6th, 2009. She was only 6lbs at that time and when she was discharged from the hospital our pediatrician was a little concerned for her because her first bowel movement was not normal. So we went to the pediatricians office every week for a month and a half and during that time Gracelyn was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. She has had a rough journey so far for only being two and a half years old. She has been hospitalized 8 times due to complications from her cystic fibrosis and she also has a medical port for intravenous medications and a feeding tube to help her gain and maintain her weight. She is also on around 18 medications daily along with breathing treatments and physical therapy that are 25 minutes 2 times a day when she is feeling good and 4 times a day when she is sick. Although this little princess has been through so much she still manages to always keep a smile on her face. This is her "normal" so in her mind she is happiest, most lucky girl in the world. She is by FAR my hero. Her fight is our fight and that won't ever change for as long as she lives.
